St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is the charity that is closest to Joe Scuderi’s heart and it is also a favorite of Joe Quartarone’s parents. November 25, 2023 is the second time Joe S. and Joe Q (USBF, Eastern VP) team up with several other volunteers to raise money for this incredible organization. Also, former New England Sports Legends will join the action this year. The Saturday after Thanksgiving was chosen because many people are home for the holidays and looking to do something fun with their families and friends. It’s also the perfect event for work colleagues to enjoy some “off the clock” time together. Managers even view it as a new teambuilding activity.
Stop scrolling the phone, shut off the TV and wrap up the shopping early that Saturday afternoon so you can join the lively group of Greater Bostonians who have already registered. And you’ll get to meet the former pro athletes, or even play with them! Email or call if you’re interested in this unique opportunity for a sports celebrity to be on your team. There will be several raffle items and a few auction items.
If you are a novice, that’s OK since there are 2 Divisions to play in, Advanced or Social. Jump in the Social Division and enjoy the day. Who knows, maybe you’ll be one of the newbies who gets hooked and joins a league?
